ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି ପୁରାତନ ହିନ୍ଦୁ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର ଶରୀର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ ଭଲ ରୂପେ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା କରିଥିଲା କିନ୍ତୁ ଶିଳ୍ପୀ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୋକ୍ତ ମାପ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ମଧ୍ୟ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଦେହର ଅବିକଳ ନକଲ କରିନାହିଁ । ଉଦାହରଣ : ଜଗମୋହନର ପୀଢ଼ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନୃତ୍ୟ ବାଦ୍ୟ କରୁଥିବା କିନ୍ନରୀଗଣ ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱୟଂ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟଦେବ ।

ସେଇ ଶିଳ୍ପୀ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଅବିକଳ ଆକୃତି ଫୁଟେଇବାକୁ ଚାହେଁ ସେ ଏପରି କିଛି ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରେ ଯାହା ୟୁରୋପୀୟ Art gallery ରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିରଳ । ବହୁ ଉଚ୍ଛ୍ୱସିତ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧଘୋଡା ଦୁଇଟିର ଆଲୋଚନା ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗରେ E.B. Havell ଙ୍କ ବକ୍ତବ୍ୟଟି ଉପସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଲେ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ହେବ ।
