About me

I am a travel photographer from Rajbiraj, Saptari, Nepal, passionate about documenting culture, heritage, landscapes, and people through visual storytelling. Since 2014, I have been an active contributor to Wikimedia projects, supporting the global free knowledge movement both online and offline.

On Maithili Wikipedia, I serve as an Accountcreator, Autopatrolled user, and Importer, contributing to content growth and quality control. On Wikimedia Commons, I am an Autopatrolled user, sharing high-quality photographs that highlight Nepal’s cultural and natural richness.

Beyond online work, I actively participate in outreach, training programs, edit-a-thons, and community initiatives. I currently serve as an Executive Member and Deputy General Secretary of the Maithili Wikimedians User Group, Nepal. I am also a proud member of Wikimedians of Nepal and the Commons Photographers User Group, collaborating with fellow contributors to strengthen free knowledge, photography standards, and regional representation within the Wikimedia movement.

My mission is to bridge local culture with global knowledge platforms, empowering communities through open access to information and visual documentation.
