ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉଇକିପାଠାଗାର https://or.wikisource.org ଇଣ୍ଟରନେଟରେ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ଏକ ନିଃଶୁଳ୍କ ପାଠାଗାର ଯାହାର ପ୍ରଥମ ସ୍ୱନକ୍ଷତ୍ର ଦିବସ ଚଳିତ ୨୫ ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୨୦୧୫ ତାରିଖ ସମୟ ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ୫ ଘଟିକାରେ ପାଳିତ ହେବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି । ଉଇକିମିଡ଼ିଆ ଫାଉଣ୍ଡେସନର ଅନେକ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଏହା ଗୋଟିଏ ଓ ଉଇକିପିଡ଼ିଆର ଏକ ସହଯୋଗୀ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ । ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାଷା, ସାହିତ୍ୟ ଓ ପାଠାଗାର ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନରେ ଏହା ଏକ ସକ୍ରିୟ ଭୂମିକା ନିର୍ବାହ କରିବାକୁ ଆଗଭର ହୋଇଛି । ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ମାନସ ନିସୃତ ଅନେକ ଆବେଗ ପାପିରସରେ, ତାଳପତ୍ରରେ ଓ ପୁସ୍ତକ ଆକାରରେ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ବିଷୟ ଲିପିବଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ କାଳ ଗର୍ଭରେ ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବିଲୁପ୍ତ ହୋଇଆସୁଛି । ଏହି ସନ୍ଧିକ୍ଷଣରେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉଇକିପାଠାଗାରରେ ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ଡିଜିଟାଇଜ କରି ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳ ନିମନ୍ତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ଓ ସାଇତି ରଖିବା ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା ଚାଲିଛି । ଇଂରାଜୀରେ ଏହା ଉଇକିସୋର୍ସ ନାମରେ ପ୍ରଖ୍ୟାତ ଓ ୨୦୦୫ରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉଇକିପାଠାଗାର ମାତ୍ର ଏକ ବର୍ଷ ହେଲା ଏହି ଦିଗରେ ସଶ୍ରମ ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା ଜାରି ରଖିଛି । ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାସେବୀମାନଙ୍କ ଅକୁଣ୍ଠ ଶ୍ରମ ପ୍ରଦାନ ଫଳରେ ସ୍ଵତ୍ତ୍ଵାଧିକାର ବାଧା ନ ଥିବା ଅନେକ ପୁସ୍ତକ ଡିଜିଟାଇଜ ହୋଇ ଉଇକିପାଠାଗାର ପୃଷ୍ଠା ମଣ୍ଡନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ।

ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉଇକିପଡ଼ିଆ, ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉଇକିଅଭିଧାନ, ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଉଇକିପାଠାଗାର, ଉଇକିମିଡ଼ିଆ କମନ୍ସ ଓ ଉଇକିଡାଟା ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପରେ ସମ୍ପାଦନ କରୁଥିବା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ମୂଲ୍ୟବାନ ସମୟରୁ କିଛି ଦାନ କରି ଏହି ସ୍ୱନକ୍ଷତ୍ର ଦିବସରେ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରି ଆମକୁ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିବାକୁ ସବିନୟ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଛୁ । ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ସ‌ହ

Odia Wikisource, available on the internet at https://or.wikisource.org, a free online library in Odia-language is turning one this October 25. A sister project of Wikipedia, Odia Wikisource (known as Odia Uikipathagara) adds a lot of value to the Odia language, literature and the library movement of Odisha. Hundreds and thousands of books being published since the beginning of the first book published in 1809, the New Testament from The Bible, only a small portion of all the books are available in digital form. Much to add to that, many of the old and rare books are in the verge of being perished and would never be available if not preserved digitally. Wikisource is a global initiative and Odia Wikisource is a new entrant in this. Already 200 plus books including the Odia Bhagabata and many other important classics have been digitized by the effort of the voluntary Wikisourcers. Being based in many parts of India and abroad these enthusiast voluntary contributors have been devotedly putting their best effort to digitize as many books as possible focusing on books that are important to many and are out of copyright.

The larger Odia Wikimedia community, that contributes to five major projects; Odia Wikipedia, Odia Wikisource, Odia Wiktionary, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata, would like to invite you to this event to share your valuable piece of knowledge that will take this movement to a great height.
